Got home to find on the ups site delivery, I'll have to wait till 8/27/08 to get back in the swing; I am supposed to go to find out about the status of my liver,but the primary care doctor didn't fax the information to the dr.-I'll have to get in touch with them tomorrow.

Memorial Day

I haven't been for some time, I got lost in my windows xp machine. Working in Bryce6, Vue6, Poser 7, Carrara and Hexagon2. All was going great until my power supply unit went out. Of course I didn't want to mess with it, so I took it to Best Buy - what a mistake. After they installed the unit and powered up the unit "can't book from disk". What? they had no idea and rather than spend more $$, I came home with the unit. Hopefully someone at work (Verizon Southwest) can help me out.
Thank goodness I had another pc which is running the Ubuntu 8, which I have downloaded Poser 7 and also Blender.
Here I will be working trying to get the above programs into Ubuntu.
Also hopefully displaying some works I have had in mind for sometime, now to learn Blender - again!.

sometime ago. . .

We are into the new year in the first quarter. Not much is different but just this last month I was considering a new laptop, I had no inclination of getting one for myself. Seeking the Lord to determine who, the thought of my brother needing one or dreaming of one prompted me to get him one. When going to Best Buy after checking out online options. I was told by someone in the store I could buy one there and have him pick up one in a store near him, after sometime it was expressed to me a hardship on their part of calling the store and negotiating with them - buying a gift card and then maybe it would work. Well the best idea for me was to purchase one a Sony Viao and ship it myself with FedEx, which got there the next day - Yeah!

There was snow in Texas, thank goodness I had that day off - although no one was killed due the bad drivers here in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. It did inspire one like myself to get to the mountains where this is a norm. Some day I hope to move to the Pacific Nortwest, possibly to work out my final days with Verizon Fios.

Doctors, fmla and art

I am still waiting for the response from FMLA whether they are approving or denying. If denying I will be returning to work to further irritate my neck issue. I now have a doctor's appointment for 01/15/08. To check on the soft tissue damage. We shall see.
Well I have tried many times to upload images into Renderosity's site but failed to do so either with .jpg, .bmp, .tif; but hopefully will be able to here.

Health and Wholeness

While checking on the google groups about linking, this inspired me to check on my issue which I am having with a pinched nerve in my neck. The best site I found is Webmd.com. Check out this site for any problems you may be having with nerve issues, they have some great videos. These are a couple which impressed me.

Trying to learn about all the sites which enable users like me who are wanting excellent content has lead me to Technorati Profile that I can further my education about blogging and how to create art inspired by the creator. To see what others and it amazes me how talented people are in their postings and displaying of art work. I normally us Renderosity forums to find out tips & tricks. Also by Google which has everthing I need either for work or fun. While trying to learn html, I find I'd rather just go to free websites for scipts.
Having to pay for items like Photoshop CS3, which is like a $1200 or more is too much for me and others who have produced alternatives like Gimp and Blender. Which for me is great so that I can create art and post scripts in order to hopefully share my thoughts , and life's issues I go through daily.
